All right

Hey Hey,

Sorry for the lack of posts on here. But, don't take the lack of posts for lacks of shows. We played some wing-dingers. The weekend before last we had a nice little Louisiana-East Texas run of shows. We played a show at Twiropa in NOLA with our new friends called Gravy. They were extremely nice guys and did a very nice version of "Ophelia" by the Band. The Twiropa room was definitely a cool room to play in. Next, we headed to Beaumont and the Vortex. Everybody there treats us right, and it was good to see our pal John Fulbright, and Dave and Shaggy at the Vortex were their normal cool selves. Nice. Next, Revolution on Saturday night. Man, it was cold, but it was fun. Thanks to Jim Owsley Jazz Quartet for playing with us, and thanks to everybody that came out and danced and stuff. You all were great.

Wednesday Feb 2, we played during set break of the Dark Star Orchestra show at the Meridian. Man, we had a ton of people up and dancing and that was a real cool show. It was real cool when the "Jerry" of DSO was admiring Al's set up. He was even kind enough to buy a cd. That's the Jerry I know and love. Fri the 4th we were back at Brian Oneill's. We were enjoying ourselves until the venue got nervous about stage volume and were afraid the cops were gonna give them a ticket and made us shut down. Heck, we were playing real quiet anyway. So, it goes.

This weekend PLUMP goes back to the playground that is The Bungalow Studio. Mostly just to hang out with our pal Mark Shannon, but also to record a bit. Here comes fun.

PLUMP does have the following shows for Feb:

THU FEB 17, Rhythm Room, Houston, Tx--opening for Perpetual Groove
THU FEB 24, The Keg, Lafayette, LA
SAT, FEB 26, Breezy's, Lake Charles, LA--opening for Thinking Plyers
